Hello My Name Is...

Tammy Long

    This is my second year at Eliot and I love it here.  I have been a teacher for twenty-six years and have taught at Houston Elementary, Grissom Elementary, and Eugene Field Elementary in Tulsa.  I have taught first, second and fourth grade, Elementary Music, and ELL (English language learners).  I am also a Weight Watchers Leader in Tulsa and Broken Arrow.
    
    I have three children.  My daughter Brianne is a sophomore at Tulsa Community College.  She is a graduate of Memorial High School.  My older son, Clark is an 8th grader at Memorial Junior High.  And my younger son, Ian, is a 5th grader at Grissom Elementary. 

    I sing lead in a Sweet Adelines International chorus, The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus, formerly sang in the quartet, Those Darn Dames!, and have participated in community theater.  My chorus is the SAI Region 25 Champion Chorus for 2012 and will be competing at Internationals in Hawaii in November 2013.
