I was raised in the Tulsa area and currently live in Owasso. I have one daughter who is 32. 

     I graduated from NSU with my bachelors degree in May, 1998. I taught 4 year olds for Head Start for three years before teaching for two years at Avant Schools. The first year at Avant I taught Pre-K and 5th to 8th grade science and computers. The second year at Avant I taught 3rd to 8th grade science the first semester and 2nd grade the second semester. The 2012/2013 school year marks the beginning of my 7th year for Tulsa Public Schools. This is my second year at Eliot. 

In August of 2012 I graduated from NSU with my Masters in Reading.
