State Testing Proctors Needed

State Testing time is here. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Oklahoma State Tests between Wednesday, April 18th and Friday, April 27th. A test monitor is required for each testing session. If you or someone that you know would like to serve as a test monitor, please sign up!

State law does not allow for parents or any other relative to monitor in their child's class. Please sign up to monitor for a different class or grade level. Thanks!

School Information
Located in historic Brookside, Eliot Elementary was opened in 1928. It was named after
Charles W. Eliot, an American educator and early president of Harvard University.
A talented and dedicated staff provides a program of research-based curriculum and
instruction to meet the needs of all students. Eliot has a long tradition of educational
excellence and strong parent and community support.

Mission Statement:
The mission of Eliot Elementary is to provide a quality educational experience for every student, every day, without exception through research-based instructional methodologies.

If you are a prospective parent interested in visiting Eliot, we have tours available throughout the school year.  This year's tour dates and times are here and on the Tour flier:

All at 9:30am:  10/10, 11/14, 12/12, 1/9, 2/13, 3/13

 Bell Times:  School starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 2:35 p.m.

All Tulsa Public Schools follow the district's uniform dress code. Eliot's uniform policy requires
Red, navy, white or purple polo or oxford uniform shirts
Khaki or navy pants, skirts/jumpers, and shorts of appropriate length
All socks or tights should be solid uniform colors or black with no logos.
There should be no logos on any part of the uniform larger than a quarter.
All sweaters should be solid uniform colors for indoor wear.
Shoes need to be closed-toe.
Coats should remain in lockers.

Eliot Excels

We will incorporate an Eliot Excels philosophy through collaboration with parents and community to produce a well-rounded student encompassing high academic achievement, healthy physical and emotional awareness, positive social skills, and problem solver capabilities to prepare for a life of productive citizenship by providing engaging activities and a safe and positive yet stimulating environment.
