Tulsa Public Schools wants your input. We’re working to build a calendar for the 2024-2025 school year (next year) that best meets the needs of our students and families. Please complete this brief survey to share your thoughts.
Celebrate Native American Heritage Month
November is Native American Heritage Month, during which we recognize and celebrate the tribal heritage of our Native American students and honor the land on which we live, work, and attend school. The Indian Education team shares resources with teachers for optional lessons, and provides lists of Native American books and literature for student exploration and enrichment.
Students are invited to celebrate each day this week (November 13 - 17) by wearing colors that represent different Native American focuses. Click here for the full schedule. Attend an ENROLLMENT INFO SESSION in November to learn about Tulsa Public Schools enrollment process and ask questions. Snacks & refreshments are provided at these kid-friendly sessions. See the flyer for more information.

10 Days of Joy - coming soon!
Calling all Tulsa area small business owners! Do you own a small business selling local goods in your spare time? Are you a maker who paints fabulous pieces or designs jewelry or other handmade creations? We are gearing up for the annual 10 Days of Joy giveaway event, which will take place Dec. 4 – Dec. 15 and are in need of giveaway donations. If your small business would like to donate items or sponsor prizes, we want to hear from you! Please email Sarah Agee to see how you can get involved.
Students with Native American heritage – enroll in Indian Education at TPS
If your student has Native American Heritage and is not currently enrolled in our Indian Education program, please complete an ED506 form and email it to us at IndianEd@tulsaschools.org. You are also welcome to join our monthly Indian Education Parent Committee meetings. These meetings occur on the second Tuesday of the month at 6pm on Zoom. The Zoom link can be found on the monthly agendas posted on our Tulsa Public Schools’ Indian Education page each month. Please reach out to Indian Education at IndianEd@tulsaschools.org with any questions.
