Eliot teacher Julie Macy takes a photo with Keller Williams Realty employess

Eliot teacher Julie Macy receives supplies from Right Road Kids grant with an approximate $2,400 value.

Community partnerships are essential not only for Tulsa Public Schools students but teachers as well. Thanks to one of those partnerships, Eliot teacher Julie Macy received nearly $2,400 worth of school supplies.

The supplies came from the Right Road Kids grant, which is a partnership between Keller Williams and Right Road Kids. The grant provides teachers, students, and classrooms across the country with needed supplies.

Julie said her students will benefit directly from the supplies, "I was overwhelmed. I am very gracious, humbled and very thankful for all of these."

"Keller Williams Realty is so proud to be in partnership with Right Road Kids, an organization designed to help teachers all across America," said OK Reginal Director for Keller Williams Sherry Lewis. "We are proud to have delivered our first boxes of supplies to Eliot Elementary today and see the happiness of the teacher, Miss Macey, and the students.  It was great fun."

Julie is the first teacher in the area to receive this grant.

To apply, teachers can visit the Right Road Kids website, click the 'Sign Up' button, then fill out the form. Right Road Kids will then connect you to a local Keller Williams realtor for the next steps. You can also visit the Right Road Kids facebook page for more information.
