SHIRTS
- Polo or Oxford shirts can be long sleeve or short sleeve
- No writing, stripes, or patterns. Any logo should be smaller than a quarter
- Colors: white, red, navy, purple, or spirit shirt
PANTS, SHORTS, & CAPRIS
- Pants should fit properly in all areas.
- Shorts must extend below the fingertips when the child is standing with hands to their sides
- Navy, khaki or black
- No jeans except on Spirit Days and Free Dress Days
DRESSES, SKIRTS & JUMPERS
- Length must extend below the fingertips when the child is standing with hands to their sides.
- Dresses must have a polo collar
- Jumpers must have a collared shirt underneath
- No writing, logos, stripes, or patterns
- Navy, khaki or tan
SOCKS
- No writing, stripes, or patterns. Any logo should be smaller than a quarter
- Colors: white, red, navy, purple, or black
TIGHTS & LEGGINGS
- Tights/leggings should be worn under a skirt or dress
- They are not to be worn as pants alone
- Any solid uniform color: white, red, navy, purple
SHOES
- All shoes need to be closed toed shoes
- Shoes with lights, games, or sounds are not allowed
- Any color
JACKETS & COATS
- Light jackets, Eliot sweatshirts, and sweaters may be worn in the classroom.
- No writing, stripes, or patterns. Any logo should be smaller than a quarter.
- Any solid uniform color: white, red, navy, purple
- Sweatshirts and sweaters must be worn over collared uniform shirts.
- Teachers may have students put their jacket in their locker if it becomes a distraction
- Heavy coats need to stay in lockers. Coats may be any color.
ACCESSORIES
Costume headbands are not allowed. All jewelry and hair accessories must be uniform colors and should be modest and not distract from learning. The teacher may choose to have them remove any pieces that become a distraction. Hats or jacket hoods are not to be worn inside the building.
SPIRIT DAYS FRIDAY
The last day of the school week students can wear an Eliot t-shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms and socks of their choice.
FREE DRESS DAY
On free dress days, students may wear any school appropriate clothes they choose. Make sure all shorts and skirts are appropriate lengths. No profanity, costumes, or pajamas. Shoulder straps must be a minimum of the width of two fingers of the person wearing the garment.
Adjustments to the dress code may be made for special events.
